The short version: Lekh AI collects absolutely no personal data. Zero. Everything runs 100% locally on your device. We have no servers, no analytics, no tracking, and no way to access your data.

In Short: We collect nothing. Zero data. No personal information, no usage data, no analytics, no telemetry.

Lekh AI is designed from the ground up to be a completely private, offline application. We do not collect, transmit, store, or process any user data on external servers. Specifically:

• No personal information — We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or any identifying information.
• No usage analytics — We do not track how you use the app, which features you use, or how often you use them.
• No conversation data — Your chats, prompts, AI responses, and generated content stay exclusively on your device.
• No device identifiers — We do not collect device IDs, advertising identifiers, or fingerprints.
• No crash reports — We do not collect crash logs or diagnostic data.
• No location data — We do not access or track your location.
• No network requests — After initial model downloads from HuggingFace, the app operates entirely offline with no phone-home connections.

The only network activity Lekh AI performs is downloading AI models from HuggingFace when you explicitly choose to download a model. This is a direct download between your device and HuggingFace's servers — we are not involved in this transfer and have no visibility into it.

About the App

Lekh AI is a comprehensive on-device AI suite for Mac, iPhone, and iPad. It brings advanced language models, image generation, text-to-speech, and vision capabilities directly to your device. The app operates 100% offline after initial model downloads, ensuring your conversations and data never leave your device.

On-Device Processing

• 100% of AI processing occurs locally on your device
• No conversations, prompts, or responses are sent to any external server
• No cloud API calls for any AI functionality
• Works completely offline after model download

Local Data Storage

• All data stored on device using Core Data and secure containers
• AI models stored in the app's document directory
• Encrypted using iOS/macOS data protection
• Data cleared upon app uninstallation

iCloud Sync (Optional)

• Optional iCloud backup for conversations across your devices
• Encrypted by Apple's iCloud infrastructure
• Synced to your private iCloud account only
• We have no access to your iCloud data
• Can be disabled at any time in system Settings

Device Permissions

Lekh AI may request the following permissions, all of which are optional:

• Camera: Only for real-time vision analysis (optional feature)
• Photo Library: Only when selecting images for analysis or generation
• Microphone: Only for voice input features
• Speech Recognition: Only for voice-to-text input
• Siri: Only for Siri and Shortcuts integration
• Local Network: Only when using the Local AI Server feature

All permissions are requested only when needed and can be revoked at any time through system Settings. No data from these permissions is ever transmitted externally.

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Control Over Preferences: Modify or update your preferences directly within the App.

• Access and Correction: Since data is stored locally, you have full control over the information maintained on your device.
• Data Portability: As all data is local, you can export your preferences if needed using any in-app functionality provided.

Since all of your data is stored locally on your device:

• No Cross-Border Transfers: Your personal data is not transferred across borders or stored on remote servers. If future updates introduce cloud-based features, we will update this policy accordingly and ensure compliance with international data protection standards.
